You can choose from numerous crypto platforms and exchanges in the US. What’s important is to evaluate how much and what kinds of fees they charge, so it doesn’t put a dent in your pocket when you buy Bitcoin or crypto every time.

One of the US crypto platforms, Nexo, charges high fees to its users. Here’s a quick and detailed breakdown of all the different types of fees charged by Nexo and alternatives you can choose from.

Account Fees

Nexo doesn’t charge any fee for creating an account.

Trading and Transaction Fees

On the Nexo Pro section, the fee component is standardized, depending upon the users’ trading volume. It doesn’t include spread fees as the orders are placed and matched directly with its order book.

  • For market makers, the fee range starts from 0.2% (up to $10k monthly trading volume) to 0.04% (+ $500M)
  • For takers, the fee range starts ranging from 0.2%(up to $10k trading volume) to 0.07% (+ $500M)

Fiat Deposit and withdrawal fees

On Nexo, every payment method has its respective deposit and withdrawal fees and respective waiting time.

Note- However, additional bank charges can be applied by the bank.

Crypto Deposit and withdrawal fees

Nexo doesn’t charge additional deposit fees. But you will have to pay standard network or withdrawal fees depending on where you transfer your crypto.

There are standard withdrawal fees for any crypto you are withdrawing from Nexo. The standard network charges will apply as the withdrawal transaction takes place on the respective blockchain of the coin.

If you are part of the Nexo loyalty program, then certain types of withdrawals are free of cost every month

  • For Base, one crypto withdrawal is free per month
  • For Silver, two crypto withdrawals are free per month
  • For Gold, three crypto withdrawals are free per month
  • For Platinum, five crypto withdrawals are free per month

However, all the crypto transfer between Nexo accounts are free of charge.
