We regret to inform you that Juno is shutting down.
We started Juno six years ago with the goal of building a better financial experience for our users. Over that time, our team worked to develop the product, support our customers, and improve the way people managed and moved their money.
Juno has been an important part of our professional lives, which makes this decision particularly difficult. In May 2024, the collapse of Synapse and the breakdown at Evolve Bank & Trust resulted in funds being frozen across more than 50+ fintech companies. These events were outside Juno's control, but had a significant impact on our users and our business.
Since then, our focus has been on supporting affected users. We maintained communication as information became available, coordinated with partner banks, engaged legal counsel to advocate for end users, and continued operating with a reduced team after normal operations had paused.
After more than two years of navigating the consequences of this crisis, we have concluded that there is no viable path forward for Juno as a business.
There has, however, been meaningful progress for affected users. The CFPB has taken action against Synapse and initiated a restitution process for affected consumers. We encourage users to follow the latest updates on the CFPB's Synapse page.
To everyone who used and supported Juno, thank you. We are sorry for the disruption and uncertainty caused by this situation, and we understand the frustration many users have experienced.
